Ceylon Boxing Federation Felicitation Ceremony

The Ceylon Boxing Federation proudly hosted a Felicitation Ceremony to honour Sri Lankan boxing veterans who represented the nation between 1960 and 1980, in recognition of their invaluable service and lifelong contribution to the sport of boxing.
The felicitation was followed by the “Sihinayake Ree” Muscle Evening, organised as a fund-raising project in support of boxing development. The event was held on 01st February 2025 at Kularathne Hall, Ananda College.
The ceremony was graced by Hon. Sunil Watagala, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs, and His Excellency Andrés Marcelo Garrido, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba.
