WRM Vincent stands as one of Sri Lanka's respected veteran figures in boxing, whose contributions span decades as both a former boxer and a committed coach. Born around 1944, WRM Vincent began his journey in boxing during his early years before going on to serve the Sri Lanka Navy. Following his service, Vincent devoted himself wholeheartedly to coaching, most notably at the YMCA, where he trained and mentored young boxers for many years. Many boxers who passed through the YMCA benefited from his patient instruction and deep understanding of the sport.
